8 Clear-Com Tempest2400/900
Wireless Communication that Goes the Extra Mile
Designed for use in the 902 to 928MHz frequency range and for
applications requiring the ability to penetrate dense structures
such as concrete and brick, Tempest900 ensures comprehensive
coverage and wide reach while also offering high resistance to
multipath interference.
TEMPEST900 BASESTATIONS
In Normal Mode, Tempest CM-922 (2-channel) and
CM-944 (4-channel) BaseStationscan support up to ve
full-duplex wireless BeltStations per BaseStation. A total
of ve stacked Tempest900 BaseStations and 25 Tempest
full-duplex wireless BeltStations can operate in close
proximity while maintaining excellent system performance.
Shared and Split Modesare additional modes of
operation to provide expanded user capacity and
operational exibility. (More details on pages 10-11).
Features available in the Tempest900 BaseStations:
• Stage Announce
• Stage Relay
• Auxiliary In/Out and Relay connections
• Remote Mic Kill
• Minimum and maximum volume levels adjustable
on a per BeltStation basis
• Wireless BeltStation call
• iSelect Roaming
CM-922 and CM-944 BaseStations are compatible
with existing four-wire matrix or two-wire Clear-Com,
RTS or AudioCom partyline intercom systems.
Clear LCD display makes setup easy and efcient while
providing real time status of active BeltStations.*
Battery monitoring is available at the BaseStation
and through the T-Desk software.*
Omni-directional Whip antennas and a Remote Transceiver
are available as options. The CCT-RT-EX line extender can
be used in conjunction with a Tempest Remote Transceiver
to extend the maximum distance between a BaseStation
and the Remote Transceiver.
